How do I supress the Notification Bar

Hello,

Do you have Notification in NOC view? If yes please provide screenshot and create support ticket.

Notifications is supressed in NOC view. I don't have it in my enviroment.

Could you please paste the screenshot of the same? Not really sure what do you mean by a notification bar. What im guessing is you are talking about a particular view on NOC,if that's the case then yes we can fine tune the view setup for NOC.

This helps a lot. The NOC view does appear to suppress the Notification Bar.

Yes, keep the view name handy with you.

1. Navigate to Settings -> Manage Account (which is under User Accounts)

2. Check the user you are interested in. (If its an individual account -> check on the individual account you want , if its a domain account click on groups tab - check the domain group you are interested in)

3. Click on Edit

4. This would open up the account configuration page, drill down to

Default Menu Bar and Views

5. You would see "HomeTab Menu Bar" , you would see a drop down right next to it. From the drop down select you NOC_View

6. Click on Submit

I tried that but I don’t have a NOC_View option.

Sorry - Point 5 - there's a small change to what i said - its "Home Page View" . You would see "Home Page View" , you would see a drop down right next to it. From the drop down select you NOC_View.

Home Page View - This view is displayed immediately after the user logs in.

Change "Default Summary View" as well, if required.

Sorry. No “NOC_View” there either. I already have that option set to the Custom View that has the NOC View selected.

lil conf... though, why cant you see the NOC_View from the drop down ? Can you navigate to settings-> manage views  and check if the NOC_View is present there.

I am hoping a separate view exists for the NOC and the same can be used for this account of yours under Home Page View. Do let me know if there's something that Im missing.

I don’t have a specific view called “NOC_View” I have several custom views where I have selected NOC View within the custom view. Selecting one of those still launches the default view although in the default there is a “Show in NOC mode” button.
