Can someone answer it!

Sometimes link is down but interfaces are not down .for example in the below topology R1 and R4 interfaces are up but if any problem Exist in the network between R2 and R3 I can not see in the map that I make in map maker . my links are up but i dont have access form R1 to R4 .

i dont have Access to Routers Betweenn R2 and R3 (because these are leased one from ISP and the links type is Layer 2 VPN) . How can I monitor The link status between R2 and R3 ?

You cannot monitor this using the interface state (at least not without the owners of R2 and R3 intervening, and that depends on the feature/functionality of their equipment and it's ability to have the interface state follow the MPLS VPN state... let's assume that you're not going to have much pull there...).
I assume you have some routing protocol (BGP?) running between R1 and R4? In that case I'd monitor that state to detect when the adjacency is lost.

You could use WAN / Router Monitoring and Management with OpManager perhaps.

You can monitor this with IP SLA using R1 as the source and R4 as the destination and vv

">dl-it-networkadmin That is what we do. any GRE/IPSEC we use IPSLA and the "link line" on maps is tied to that object.
