Re: Hardware health critical ?

Hi,
I have a similar issue with a fan erroneously reporting as critical in a Cisco 2960. The fan is OK. I removed & re-added the health monitoring, polled and & re-discovered, but the error returns. Other identical 2960's report OK. The temperature is tracking well, no data is being collected for the power supply or the fan and the fan is reporting as critical.
Without deleting and re-adding the node I cannot see how to how to fix this.
Any suggestions?

Hi, it was a long time ago, but I think it was a support call.
Raise a ticket & give them as much info as possible & they'll either mail you or call you as soon as they can.
You might want to prepare a DIAG file (which collects all of your configurations together for them to analyse better). RDP to your engine & find the job in SolarWinds Orion > Documentation and Support > Orion Diagnostics. It'll take a little while to run and then it produces a single ZIP of everything that support need.
