    Alert Central and Google Apps


      I'm trying to set up Alert Central and trying to configure it to use the mailbox we've created for it in our Google Apps domain. Whenever I fill in the "Tell Us About the Email Account You Created" and click next it says "Failed to connect: Connect failed", error details below.

      The settings I've used for the mailbox are correct as I can use the exact same settings in something like Thunderbird and it works perfectly. So I'm guessing it's something wonky with trying to get Alert Central working with a Google Apps mailbox, anyone got any ideas on this ?
