what is the result when you try the following snmp oid? can you get two results?? should be Power Supply 1 and Power Supply 2
Cisco hasn't always been consistent across differing model lines when it comes to which OIDs represent power supplies and fans.
Which chassis are you looking to monitor?
Cisco 4506, 3560 and 6509
For the 4500's, 6500'sand 7600 I use 184.108.40.206.220.127.116.11.18.104.22.168.3 ciscoEnvMonSupplyState
I don't have any 3500s to test with.
When you create your UnDP, use MIB value Type "Raw Value", SNMP Get Type "Get Table", and Format "Enumeration".
My Enumerations are mapped to:
If you want some reports from that OID, I've got a couple here:
These were written on NPM 10.1, but still working on 10.3. Haven't moved to 10.4 or 10.5 yet
I tried this but still not getting the output. I copied the above reports and pasted in orion reports and when I try to open the reports, it displays nothing.
When you add a new OID you must type Snmp OID of power supply name to custom label field (for match power supply name and status). You can find in the following video
Also I agree Wbrown's comment
After you created the UnDP did you test it on a few nodes?
If so, what did the results show?
I tested it on a Cat 3560G. and works.
