Having trouble filtering nodes

I created a custom report (for Unmanaged Nodes) and put it on the home page. Everything works as it was created. However, I need to filter out devices that being with certain letters. I clicked "Edit" for that report on the Home page and put in a SQL statement in the Filter Nodes section. ex: Caption Not Like 'HST*', but it is not working. The nodes that start HST still show up. Any ideas on how I can filter this (and one more) type of node out?

I have also tried using an "inclusion" SQL command (ex: Caption Like '* - *') but that isn't working either. I thought maybe it wasn't working due to me using an "exclusion" SQL command, but alas, that was not the case.

Did you create the report as an Advanced SQL report or did you start with one of the canned reports in Report Writer? have not used SQL statements in the Filter section and can't quite place what you might be doing. If I had any reports that I need to do some customization to, I would normally Show SQL to get the SQL statement, copy that, create an Advanced SQL report, and paste the SQL statement into the report. I would then modify it to fit my needs and save it as needed.

Yes, I created the report as an Advanced SQL report. I then made it a Resource in Column 1 on the Home Page. On the Home Page, I click edit for that resource, and there's a place to filter nodes using a simple SQL statement.

I have tried using the same SQL statements in the Advanced SQL report, but have no luck with that either.
