    All SNMP strings viewable...

    mnpuckett

I just had a new customer make me aware that when he clicked on the 'Network Sonar Wizard' he could see all SNMP strings for all of my other customers.

I've looked for documentation, but have not been able to find a way to remove these from being seen.  Can someone please point me in the right direction?

There is no way of hiding specific information within this screen, you can either have full or no access to this page.

The most common approach would be to remove access to this page altogether by setting your customers account permissions to not have node management rights.

            Hi mnpuckett,

unfortunately this is a limitation in NPM that if an user has rights to launch network discovery he has also rights to see all SNMP credentials through discovery profiles or account limitations. You only can create a feature request here.

            Thanks,

            Pavel
