    SNMP Community string

I have several routers that are assigned a specfic community string for SNMP. SolarWinds has several strings avalible for use but only one is assigned to a router. I am getting errors in the routers log "SNMP_AUTH_FAILURE: unauthorized SNMP community from <SolarWinds IP> to unknown commumity name <string name>. It looks like SolarWinds is trying to log in to the router with a community string that is not assiggned to the router in SolarWinds. If I add the community strings to the routers configuration the log errors stop but this is really not a fix. Why would SolarWinds attempt to log in to a router using a community string that not assiged to a device?
