Issues with Orion Web Console

Hello Guys,

I have recently started using Solarwinds and facing a strange issue. The issue is that I am unable to launch orion web console directly as it opens the web explorer and gives me "Page cannot be displayed" error. However, when I try to launch the solarwinds website directly from the IIS, it is successfully giving me the login page. The other starnge thing is that the problem starts occuring when I bind the solarwinds website to an IP, however when i leave it unassigned( not binded to any Ip) it works fine. Any help here is appreciated.

You have to select the IP to bind it to during the Orion Configuration Wizard. If you want to change the website IP you need to rerun the wizard.

Compare the exact URL's you get when you launch the website from (I presume) the application link in your start bar versus the IIS page. I have to wonder if this might be related to when it is called/loaded one way it is trying to use an FQDN that may not be in DNS or your local hosts file (I think the application link does this by default) and it can't find it, but IIS (being the web server itself) knows exactly how to get there.
