AI am running Orion version 2012.01 and want an audible alert everytime an alert is displayed using Alert Manager and "Log the Alert to the NetPerfMon Event Log". I tried enabling "Alert Sound" under Maged Accounts. Also, under Alert Manager, I have trigger actions to Play sound and to execute script (see Below) to play sounds. None of these are working. Orion is on W2K R2 and remote workstations are on Windows 7. I have tried placing the sound file in the same directory structure on both the server and workstation.
START /d "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Media Player" /min C:\Windows\media\Orion\sirenpolice5.wav - This works when run directly on the workstation.
