Filesystems not showing up for ESX 4.1.0

Hi,

We are using ESX 4.1.0 and ESX 5.0 in our environment. We recently had filesystem issues on ESX4.1.0 but was unreported. While comparing ESXi 5.0 and ESX4.1.0 we had observed that filesystems(Datastores) are missing for ESX 4.1 but the same were present in ESXi 5.0. Is there a different APIs that are being used for both versions of ESX wherein I am not able to see the filesystems.
