Trigger Action - Execute a script on a remote Linux node

Is it possible within Orion NPM 10.x to execute a perl script on a remote linux node? I've created an alert, and am attempting to execute an external program as the trigger action. However, I'm unclear on the how to set this up? The external program would be a perl script to execute on the node that triggered the alert.

If you made your script ssh to the linux box to then run the script, then you can do this it seems. I found this in the more like this section:
Remote perl script execution for alert.
The answer is marked as correct and it seems very plausible.
