Couple high level questions.

Is this CISCO centric? If I rip CISCO out of my closets and put in Avaya, will UDT continue to work.

If I have a totally brainless switch out of a managed port on a managed switch, will I see all the users and devices out that port. Basically an up link to a switch with no management capabilities.

There is no mention of Cisco only support in the admin guide. It does mention that it will work for any SNMP capable switch. I am assuming this means any MIB2 compliant SNMP switch.
If you had a desktop switch plugged into a managed switchport, you should see multiple mac addresses on that managed switchport.

UDT is definitely NOT Cisco centric. We are moving away from Cisco to Juniper switches (EX3300, EX4200, and EX4500's currently deployed) and UDT works GREAT!!
I'm pretty sure that UDT will work with AVAYA switches as well.
