How do I make a Node go into warning when an alert is triggered?

I have set us some custom pollers for a wireless controller. When an AP goes down, I have configured Solarwinds to show up under the Alerts tab but it seems to confuse people because the node is green. Is there anyway to make the node turn yellow when there is an active alert?

  • I don't think this is currently possible.  I had a client that wanted to do the same thing when CPU was running high, and we can look at the gauge and also set alerts, but couldn't make the node change colors.  I would be interested if anyone else knows how this can be completed.

I think this would be a great feature request.   I think there is a feature request for the CPU and Memory, but the wireless AP would be great.
