NPM and restricted SNMP views

Hi all,

I noticed recently that restricted SNMP views can create issues when adding a SNMP node to NPM. I experienced that a few weeks ago when I tried to add a node where the "System" OID (1.3.6.1.2.1.1)  was not visible: I just could not add the node.

I have seen a document listing the OIDs that NPM *can* poll, and I was wondering if there is also documentation regarding OIDs that NPM *must* be able to poll on a SNMP node in order to add it to monitoring. So far I could only identify 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.* as a "mandatory" OID, and I need to know if there are any others, so that I can ask the 3rd party managing the device I mentioned at beginning to add it to the view.

Thanks in advance,

Y.
