Is it possible that the new license key that would have been provided when you renewed did not get applied to your existing install?
If CatTools still has the old key applied then this would explain the license message you are seeing.
To apply the new license you need to copy the full key (including all the '###' characters around it) and click the 'Register' button from within the Registration Details form.
'Help > Enter license details > Enter new details (button)'
