One of our NPM 10.1.3 systems with IP SLA Manager 3.5.1 is losing IP SLA data frequently due to almost daily occurrence of VoipOperationResults_Detail update blocking other SQL transactions. It appears to be related to daily rollup job and number of detail records. I mention number of detail records because when I reduced daily data retention from 60 days to 45 days and later from 45 days to 38 days the SQL blocking transactions happened less frequently. Anybody seen this behavior?
Scheduling database index rebuild job appears to have improved database performance enough to prevent MS SQL blocking transactions for now.
We are also in process of scheduling upgrading of NPM 10.1.3 to NPM 10.3, and IPSLAM 3.5.1 to VNQM 4.0
