I'm assuming that by Monitor Name you mean the Node Name of the device? If not, ignore what's written below
This is what I've done in Report Writer
In 'Filter Results' I'm using
Records where Node Name is equal to xxxxxxxx
Records where Interface Name is equal to GigabitEthernet x/x/x
Then in the 'Select Fields' section I use
Field: Node Name sort * function *
as well as other parameters.
Then on the report it shows the Node Name and not the interface name.
Hope that makes sense.
Thank you, but what I was meaning, was once the report is generated, where I would expect to see a monitor name next to its graph, I'm seeing the SNMP interface name. So, instead of a friendly name I'd have given it, like Port 1
I'm getting something like '1 (if:1)'.

How are you creating this report? Can you please post an example?
From the dashboard:
Click Reports-->Interface Traffic-->Select the node I want-->Results.
However, these names are what I would like to see.
In the individual monitor, I see this, and I can edit it. However, for obvious reasons, doing it for 650+ monitors is not appealing...
Hope this helps clear up what I'm doing, and what I'd like to accomplish.
It appears the preconfigured reports will use the Interface Description as the Graph Title. This cannot be modified. However, we can work around this by creating a custom report and requesting it via the Dashboard, instead of the preconfigured report. By default, custom reports will use the Monitor name within the Graph Title. The only drawback to this solution is that the report will/must have a static list of Bandwidth Monitors assigned to it.
If you need assistance with creating the Interface Report, please open a new case and we can assist you.

That's.... rather disappointing Chris. I can do custom reports.
Personally, This is something I'd regard as a 'bug', or at least something that should most certainly have the option available to modify the defaults reports behavior. Is this something planned for a patch build soon, or at least is it a known existing issue?
