    solarwind products running on closed networks


      i work on a closed network, ie no iNet connections


      the solarwind products are slow to start up. wireshark shows that the product starts to call home. ie access the solarinds portal.


      as i have no inet access, calling home is useless and simply delays the startup.

      as well, there are many places on quite a few pages that expect inet access.


      can all products please be updated so that a simple question is asked at install time.


      do you have inet access?


      if the answer is yes, follow the current install.

      if the answer is NO

      please add hooks in all the code that tries to access any inet address or portal.



      this would give us on closed networks a more stable and responsive products
