server migration from 32 to 64 bit plus software upgrade

    bfrancis

      hello,

I'm new to my environment and I have been tasked with upgrading our solarwinds software.  See below for version information

The database server is separate and appropriately sized so I'd like to keep that server as it is.  The application server is running at low free memory with 4 GB so I'd like to add more so that will require the change to 64-bit.

From what I understand, I can stand up a new server with the upgraded versions of the modules below.  Stop all the current services and update the polling engine info on the new server and point the database server to the new application server?

Anyone have any experience performing a migration and upgrade?

      Thanksws
