Monitoring vCenter/vSphere server

The screenshot of the "Disk Volumes" appears to be volumes for an individual ESX host. To get that information, you'll need to be monitoring each individual host.You'll want to configure SNMP on the hosts and once you have them added, you can poll them directly or through Vcenter.

Thanks.  I assume the storage in the screenshot is the local storage of the ESXi host and to get my SAN data, I will need to configure that per the SAN device?

Okay - so I added SNMP to one of my ESXi hosts and when I try to add it to NPM, it only shows the NIC's under the resources.  I'm not concerned with the drive space since it's on a SAN, but I was hoping to be able to capture CPU and memory.

Do I need to reboot the ESXi host after enabling SNMP?  NPM was able to read the community string

You shouldn't have to reboot the host. Have you checked the "Poll for Vmware" button & added ESX credentials?

Yeah sorry forgot to mention that.  I'm only seeing NIC's with Poll for VMware button checked.
