Problem:
Can not view Packages node under Administration and Reporting -> Software Publishing.
Error Access is Denied is displayed.

Solution:
This can be caused if the ewdgssvc account doesn’t have access to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Update Services\Server\Setup
Add the local Users group to have read access or specifically add the ewdgssvc account to have read access.
