Strange. This is the first report we have heard of this. Have you raised a support ticket? I'd like to get some diagnostics from you if I could.
For reference: by default, CatTools will use show running-config command for the Device.Backup.Running Config activity if you connect to the device using Telnet.
If you connect over SSH, the more system:running-config will be tried first for the backup activity and if this fails, then the show running-config command is used.
The more system:running-config command will display pre-share key information in clear text - which is why CatTools only uses this over SSH and not Telnet.
I'm therefore presuming that you must be using SSH to connect, which means CatTools will first attempt with the 'more system:running-config' command?

Yes there is now a Hot fix for catools available in your customer portal to download which resolves this issue.
