I would look to see if the ewdgsvc-xxxxx account has logon as service right.
Sometimes Domain level GPOs override this and the account requires it.

I just installed the software and i receive the error when starting the console:
The attempt to connect the EminentWare Application Server failed.
The RPC server is unavailable.
Even the services is not started and the service account has logon as service rights.
Please run the registry editor.
Open up HKEY LOCAL MACHINE
Navigate to the SOFTWARE\EminentWare\Logging key
There should be 3 registry DWORD values there.
Please set Options to 3
Please set Level to 3
Please set Enable to 1
Attempt to restart the EminentWare service.
In the EminentWare installation directory, navigate to the Server folder.
In this folder, there is a file that looks like the following EminentWare.DataGridService.exe.XXXXXXXX.NNN.log
Please send this log file to Customer Support.
