This is likely a task better suited for Patch Manager which is capable of reporting upon driver versions installed etc. Some of that information is made available via SNMP and WMI once the hardware vendors management agent is installed, so it may just be a simple matter of creating the appropriate WMI or SNMP monitor to collect and report upon this information in SAM. However, if the resulting query returns a non-numeric value then SAM won't be able to collect and report upon it.
