Virtualization Manager and VDI Licensing

Hi all -

We are considering the Virtualisation Manager product to complement our exiting Solarwinds NCM/NPM install. I understand that the VM product is licensed on the number of powered on VMs, however is there a difference in the licensing costs when considering the difference between a VM server instance and a VDI image? We have approx 400 server VM instances so no problem there, but when we are potentially looking at approx 2500 VDI instances the price will be a bit eye-watering emoticons_cry.png

Also, has anyone got any experience of using the VirtMan product with a VDI implementation?

Thanks in advance,

John
