    Feature: Advanced Alert Reset Condition - "If Acknowledged"


      I would like a reset condition for advanced alerts that would allow a requirement to be to reset the alert IF the alert has been acknowledged.  If not, the alert stays current. 

      I cannot figure out a way to do this with the available options.


      I don't want alerts to go away when the condition resolves.  I only want the alert to go away after the condition resolves AND the alert was acknowledged.  This allows the NOC to know the condition existed without having to pour through the event log.  I then use escalation to send emails if the alert has not be acknowledged in a set amount of time.
