I have an ASA 5510, Version 8.2. I have SNMP and Netflow set up. I'm using NPM and NTA on my network currently.
In the process of adding the ASA as a node, I checked off the "outside", "inside" and "dmz" interfaces to be monitored. At this point I'm only interested in monitoring the traffic passing through the "outside" interface. But in the near future I'll also be interested in monitoring traffic on the "dmz" interface. Currently, when I get into NTA it only shows 1 interface being monitored by netflow, and that's actually the DMZ interface which has no traffic going over it.
Can someone help straighten this out?
Maybe I'm coming at this from the wrong way. I have my netflow monitoring set up on my ASA. Right now in my NTA it shows netflow monitored port as the "DMZ" interface, which currently has no traffic on it. But, I'm still getting traffic on my netflow capture. Is there any way, like netflow set ups on a router, I can specify which port I want traffic captured from?
