Motorola Wing 5

Hi Guys,

Motorola has released their latest firmware Wing5 and have added new MIB database for polling the wireless controller and Access points. How do I integrate these in the Solarwinds database linked to universal device poller ?

We are using motorola for wireless and need this to monitor our wireless network.

You can use the Universal Device Poller with all available OIDs in the new Wing5 MIB. Just follow the instructions in the section "Monitoring MIBs with Universal Device Pollers" in the SolarWinds Orion NPM Administrator Guide. If your Wing5 devices show up as "Unknown" in the web console, reply with a request to the "Tell us your 'Unknown' Devices " thread.

We also use Wing 5 with our Motorola 7181's. Have you been able to add your Motorola AP's as wireless AP's in NPM?
