ERROR INSTALLING NPM

Hi all,

I am evaluating solarwinds NPM.

These are the steps i done to install NPM.

1) installed 2003 with sp2

2) enabled IIS and installed .net 3.5 sp1

but even then when i am trying to install NPM it goes till where it says it is installing .net and then it gives a ( error while installing .net framework. the installer returned the following error message: a fatal error occured during installing. )

I tried some steps like reinstalling .net, uninstalled .net and tried installing solarwinds but still the same error.

someone please help me how can i install NPM. early reply is appreciated.

this is very weird because the I WAS ABLE TO INSTALL IT ON MY OTHER DOMAIN WITH NO ISSUES. THE SERVERS HAVE identical builds

Hello,
What exactly version of NPM are you trying to install?
Take into account that since NPM 10.3 it needs .NET 3.5 SP1 and .NET 4.0.
Also you can grab diagnostics from the problematic server and attach them.
