Hi,
I am very new to Solarwinds and I need to teach myself on do some basic things.
I have a recurring message on some servers that say " Application Perfromance Counter Monitor is down"
I checked and the service is up on the Windows machine.
How do I reset the message or clear it?

Is is showing as a red box on the node status that it is always down.
I would go to the "Edit Application" page of that node. You can run a test on that application and it should tell you why that particular application is failing.
Not sure if this helps but it's a start.
