Need to monitor stability history of EIGRP and BGP neighbors/peers

I need to know how I might be able to accomplish monitoring of EIGRP and BGP neighbors/peers.  Ideally I would like to see a chart or graph (per routing protocol) with all my neighbors and peers.  The goal is to be able to set a last 30 or 90 day history view to quickly identify the most unstable neighbors/peers.  I've done some research here on thwack, but can't find any posts about this specific use case.

NPM has lots of awesome functionality for monitoring interfaces and device level data, but seems to mostly ignore the routing protocols which are a core function of most networks.  This is especially important in networks with numerous interconnected sites.  The local L2/device state may show 100% uptime when in reality the L3 topology may be suffering from chronic outages in an ISP network.  As an aside, I'd love to see a new NPM menu item specifically designed for monitoring ROUTING protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VRFs).
