    PackageBoot XML - Intending to use specific uninstaller program from Adobe

      Hello.

      I am very new to Eminentware/SolarWinds Patch Manager, having just purchased it for our enterprise.

      We have an installer problem (outside of patch management) with removal and install of Flash Player 10.  Any new installations of Flash fail because the existing install has left some rogue registry keys that must be removed before new installs.

      I have tried to add the "uninstall_flash_player_32bit.exe" to the packageboot as this should fix the remnants of any Flash installs.   Here is my XML:

      -<packageboot version="1.0.0.0"id="dd53b76e-babc-410f-8901-426d0989f5f1">
      -<instructions>
      -<preexecution>
       <services> </services>
      -<programs>
       <program type="exe"typeaction="runandwait"name="uninstall_flash_player_32bit.exe"successcode="0"failureaction="stop"enabled="false">-uninstall</program>
       </programs>
       <processes> </processes>
      -<filesinuse>
       <fileinusecheck> </fileinusecheck>
       </filesinuse>
       </preexecution>
      -<execution>
      -<programs>
       <program type="msi"typeaction="install"name="install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.msi"successcode="0,  1234, 1235, 1236, 1237, 1238, 1239, 1240, 1241, 1242, 1243, 1244, 1245, 1246,  1247, 1248, 1249, 1633, 1634, 1641, 3010"failureaction="stop"enabled="true"> </program>
       </programs>
       </execution>
       </instructions>
       </packageboot>

      I cannot seem to get the packageboot to process the first .exe.   Am I doing something wrong? Is the code incorrect?

      The Software Distribution folder contains all the files in the package, including the uninstaller EXE.
