Re: mixed cisco juniper shop -> login information -> user
cvachovecj May 15, 2012 2:59 AM (in response to njoylif)Hi njoylif,
we consulted with dev team and the response is: why don't you use device level login credentials? In that way, you could easily have different enable setup for different devices.

Jiri

I have a requirement to know who is doing what to devices, including jobs scheduled, for compliance reasons.
Thus, if I understand correctly, device level will not work. I need the user logged in to be the "author" of the script run, changes made, or job scheduled.

How can I word my initial request differently to help them understand? I thought this would have explained why that suggestion doesn't work:
alternately, currently, if login information is "user", the enable level and password can not be changed. even if I were able to select "login information -> user" and change those fields by selecting a vendors group and edit, that would resolve this issue as well.
