Interfacing storage profiler with reporting services thread has step-by-step instructions for successfully getting data from MySQL into MS SQL Server using SSIS. Hopefully this will answer your question.
Edit- I stand corrected. It is best to follow Alan's advice.
I just wanted to make it clear that the post you mentioned is only for pulling data from MySQL using Microsoft SSIS. It is not inteneded to replace the MySQL database with MS SQL.
This is not something we support. STM ships with and is designed to use MySQL on the same drive as the app.
I would not recommend changing that as it will affect upgrading, migrating and potentially cause other issues. We also wont be able to help you with any issues you may have on your STM database.
