Anyone ever noticed multiple snmp.exe processes in task manager in windows for a server being monitored by orion? Is this normal and safe? I'm guessing it's because multiple things being queried at once via snmp?

I haven't seen multiple instances of SNMP.exe process running. It may be related to traps or a 3rd party Windows SNMP extension. If you view the "command line" option in Task Manager are they both running from the same location? You might want to look at this using Micorosoft's Process Explorer utility.
one of the processes is just snmp.exe. The others are snmp.exe *32 with a very long command line path. see picture. I did notice the "trap" part in the string but don't know what that means.
This is definitely related to SNMP Traps, but beyond that I'm not really sure. A quick Google search confirms this is a Microsoft behavior. You might have to brush up on my Russian to learn more.
