Numerical ordering issue under a web resource

I have successfully created a custom poller report using Report Writer.

When I execute the SQL query within the Report Writer the Status header is correctly ordered by the highest number.

When I add a report writer resource on the NPM website it orders my status numbers incorrectly. The report thinks 8 is higher than 1250.

any ideas?
