rpc problem with ipmonitor 10.5 on windows server 2008 r2

hi!

sorry, if there may be a question where this problem is already discussed and/or solved but I don't have enough time yet to read through all the posts concerning rpc and so on ... ;)

we have an installation with about 1000 monitors (only rpc and snmp - no wmi!) and after about 10 days the whole rpc system on the win2k8 r2 hangs. login over rdp isn't possible any more - only after server restart ...?!

anyone an idea?

The fact that you can no longer RDP into the system leads me to believe that the system is running out of connections. Try running through the following article and see if it helps:
