    Instructions for Hotfixes in Install Bundle?

      I just installed UDT 1.0.1. When I downloaded the install bundle from my customer portal, there were two hotfixes included, but no readme files. Are these hotfixes installed as part of the regular 1.0.1 install, or do I need to do something with them manually?

          We apologize for the inconvenience. Here are the instructions that go with the UDT version 1.0.1 Hotfix 1:

          SolarWinds User Device Tracker version 1.0.1 Hotfix 1

          Hotfix 1 fixes several issues:
          - Some devices running CatOS doesn't show endpoints for not-default vlan.
          - Some Juniper devices show wrong vlan for endpoints.
          - Top XX NetFlow resources are blocked from loading in Orion NTA

          If you do not have any of those three issues you do not need to install this Hotfix.

          This hotfix requires SolarWinds UDT version 1.0.1.

          To install this hotfix:

          1. Shutdown the Orion Services.
              a. Open Orion Service Manager in the SolarWinds program group (SolarWinds Orion > Advanced Features > Orion Service Manager).
              b. Click SolarWinds Job Engine v2, then click Stop.
              c. Click SolarWinds Orion Module Engine, then click Stop.
          2. Backup the files SolarWinds.UDT.BusinessLayer.dll, SolarWinds.UDT.Common.dll, SolarWinds.UDT.Jobs.dll, UDTCompatibilityChecker.exe (located by default in \SolarWinds\Orion\UDT).
          3. Copy the new versions of those files (SolarWinds.UDT.BusinessLayer.dll, SolarWinds.UDT.Common.dll, SolarWinds.UDT.Jobs.dll, UDTCompatibilityChecker.exe) from the archive into the UDT

          directory.
          4. Backup the file PortDetailsList.ascx.cs (located in \Inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\UDT\Resources\PortDetails).
          5. Copy the new version of PortDetailsList.ascx.cs from the archive to \Inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\UDT\Resources\PortDetails.
          6. Restart the Orion Services.
              a. Open Orion Service Manager in the SolarWinds program group (SolarWinds Orion > Advanced Features > Orion Service Manager).
              b. Click SolarWinds Job Engine v2, then click Start.
              c. Click SolarWinds Orion Module Engine, then click Start.

          To uninstall this hotfix:

          1. Shutdown the Orion Services.
              a. Open Orion Service Manager in the SolarWinds program group (SolarWinds Orion > Advanced Features > Orion Service Manager).
              b. Click SolarWinds Job Engine v2, then click Stop.
              c. Click SolarWinds Orion Module Engine, then click Stop.
          2. Restore to the UDT directory the versions of the files that you backed-up (SolarWinds.UDT.BusinessLayer.dll, SolarWinds.UDT.Common.dll, SolarWinds.UDT.Jobs.dll,

          UDTCompatibilityChecker.exe).
          3. Restore to \Intetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\UDT\Resources\PortDetails the backed-up version of PortDetailsList.ascx.cs.
          4. Restart the Orion Services.
              a. Open Orion Service Manager in the SolarWinds program group (SolarWinds Orion > Advanced Features > Orion Service Manager).
              b. Click SolarWinds Job Engine v2, then click Start.
              c. Click SolarWinds Orion Module Engine, then click Start.
