I would like to suggest a new node status of "non-production". Currently, there is the defacto online status without a timeframe, and an Unmanaged status with a defined timeframe. It would be valuable for us to have one called Non-Production that does not have a timeframe. This status would gather statistics like the online status but, would not trigger any alerts or be counted in uptime calculations. This would allow us to evaluate test systems and even inventory non-production systems.
