    continuous traceroute feature

We need to be able to trigger an alarm when and internal or external route path change takes place.  SInce we use multiple routing protocols (eigrp, bgp, ospf) using a Undp doesn't cover the issue.  We've seen several stand alone products that allow a user to set up a traceroute poll and then trigger an alert when any devices in the path change.  In Solarwinds Engineers Tool set, a continuous traceroute tool already exists.  This tool allows a user to specify destination IP address and then repeatidly runs a traceroute every so many seconds.  My request would be to bring the functionality of this tool into the NPM product and allow the admin to set up specific destinations to track and alert triggers.  Obviously performing traceroute on every device would be performance prohibitive, so this would have to be specifically configured.
