HELP! No Performance Data collected for IBM DS4700

6.x is very old firmware. You need to download the LSI Legacy SMI-S Provider from LSI's website.

please be sure to change CIM namespace to root/lsissi1

and username to administrator

ive tried. but still no performance data showing. and i found out the minimum firmware is 7.10 for performance data to be collected.

Issue solved by upgrading firmware to 7.60 .

i can see the performance graph and details.

BUT No data under SERVERS Tab and DATA Tab.. hmmmm

I am glad you are getting performance data. 

The servers tab is populated in two ways:

• If you have agents on Windows servers connected to this array, they should appear there automatically.
• You can also manually assign drives from any server with an agent to that array.

If you are monitoring VMware, check out the logical mapping report under the storage tab under you VC or cluster or host.

managed to get some info under SERVERS Tab,

but still none on DATA Tab...not sure why...

You have to run File Analysis on the servers associated on the servers tab, then data will show up.
