Slow access to login page

This could be because the app pool is timing out.  You can increase the time out default value to help with this.

Thanks Jeff, however the app pool time-out doesn't seem to be the cause of our problem.

There are 3 app pools on the Orion Web Server, Classic .NET, Default and SolarWinds Orion.

The time-out for all 3 app pools were at 20 minutes. I tried setting the time-out for the SW Orion app pool at 30 minutes, then did iisreset. The delay for the login page was still there. Even tried 90 minutes : no change.

I'll need to analyse what happened but the delay has now gone.

Some users still had it but after deleted their temporary internet files and cookies, the delay disappeared for them as well.
