Cat Tools started generating the following error trying to backup any device:

I slew of patches were recently installed. I tried uninstalling KB967723 as it seemed the most likely culprit, but the issue remains.
That issue relates to the CatTools Client exe unable to create a connection thread.
It may have been that the CatTools_Client.exe was running when you installed your updates and may have corrupted.
