Additional Polling Engine on different subnet

My Orion NPM server and database server are located within our core network. I need to install a second polling engine and want this polling engine to monitor several hundred routers with public IP addresses. I also intend to enable NetFlow on these routers. Does Solarwinds recommend I not a polling engine on a subnet different than my primary Orion NPM?.

My primary Orion NPM server is on the 10.x.x.x network and I want to install the polling engine on 192.x.x.x network.
