Network Baseline Performance

Question

New to performance monitoring. I need to establish a baseline performance matrix of edge switches, Cisco (2) 4503 & (4) 4506's, with 1GB fiber connections to core 6509. How do I set this up to get a clear view of daily traffic to determine and bandwith or latency issues?

Just add those nodes and interfaces into Orion to get a view of the traffic percentage.  If you want deeper views into what the traffic is you should check out our Netflow module.  Also you can look at IPSLA Manager to give you deeper statistics into latency.
