Percent Interface Utilization - wrong values

Hello,

I use Solarwinds NPM version 10.1.2. In "Current Percent Utilization of Each Interface" table there are 'transmit' and 'receive' values, but, unfortunately, there are not correct - they still are about 0-1% for interfaces that should have really high utilization.

We tried to change Polling Intervals, but it didn't helped. Is that known problem?

Problem exists for example for Cisco 2960 Switch.

How are you determinig that the information is incorrect? What type of interface?

This is Gigabitethernet, I can see this in sho interface gig. It should be abot 40-50%. Do you have any idea, what can cause this?

Make sure you have the "Allow 64 bit counters" box checked for that device. This is in Settings -> Node Management. Select the node and click on Edit Properties

Hi Andy,
I have a similar problem where utilization reached beyond the physical interface bandwidth limit, do you think this can solve the issue? If yes, when do we need to check "Allow 64 bit counters" box? Do we need do this on all the nodes or on the nodes that have wrong values only? Please advise as our clients are already thinking that Solarwinds polling are inaccurate.
