Device Tracker Searching - Ability to filter out uplink ports in search results

    wallacegromet

Will the final version of UDT have the ability to filter search result so "access/edge" ports are displayed instead of both - access and uplink/aggregation ports?

Just another comment - in our environment, I can't foresee the need to keep historical device tracker information on core and aggregation devices. Will it be possible to flag a device/port as a core or aggregation device and not track device history?

If you download the latest Beta, you will be able to filter based on connection type (directly, non-directly). In essence, you will be able to see devices directly connected to your access switch, if you know which specific switches are access.

From the search box, select search based on "Connected to", and then in the search results page, click on the Filter drop-down menu, and select Direct Connections.

As for keeping historical data on specific devices, this will not be available in Version 1.
