You need to put $ share . UNC path and share the folder or drive

Thank you GoldTipu. this is what i did to get this to work-
\\x.x.x.x\Tera_Share\DOCS\Configuration Files\backup configurations_all_cores(RECENT)\%GroupName%\Config.Current.Running.%BaseFile%.txt
It looks like i needed to the following to get the above to work properly->
under "services" "CatTools properties" "log on" tab, i had to "log on with this account" and add my username and password to log into the network drive. Once i did that, cattools started to save the running configs to the network drive. Does this seem like the right way to do this or is there another way?

This is correct as its used the UNC path for network drives as per my previous post.

Unable to create destination file:\\x.x.x.x\groups\Information_Technology\Backups\CatTools3\Configs\Config.Current.Running.%BaseFile%.txt
You will want to make sure that the CatTools service is running under an account that has admin rights to the remote share. By default it runs under a Local System account.
