Commit charge vs Physical Memory

Our server is reporting memory Commit Charge of 80%, but ipMonitor is reporting 50% physical memory utilized. I'm not sure why these are different on the server, but is it possible for ipMonitor to report on Commit Charge as that is the one our application is sensitive to?
